Zephyr offers 85 studio apartments for formerly homeless Veterans earning 30%-40% AMI.  Previously a motel, the three-story structure has been extensively rehabilitated to provide studio apartments, common areas, and office space for service providers.     Zephyr offers Permanent Supportive Housing in response to two important initiatives of the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) and the City of San Diego Mayor’s Office: Housing First – SDHC’s Homelessness Action Plan, and Housing Our Heroes – The 1000 Homeless Veterans Initiative, respectively.
