DOUGLAS W. MASSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Helping Residents Pursue Their Academic Goals
The Douglas W. Masson Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to residents of Affirmed Housing communities throughout California. The scholarship is open to Affirmed Housing residents pursuing community college degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, PhDs, vocational education, and GEDs.
Eligibility
- Must be a resident of an Affirmed Housing community
- Must be a high school senior or older who is pursuing a higher education degree
- Must intend to use the scholarship funds for the upcoming academic year or within six months of award if applying to the Vocational Conditional Award

Douglas W. Masson
The Douglas W. Masson Memorial Scholarship is established in honor and memory of Douglas Masson, founder and owner of Masson & Associates, Inc., a civil engineering and design firm based in San Diego County, California. Doug was a valued business associate and longtime friend of Affirmed Housing, whose legacy continues to inspire and support future generations.
